In recent times Mafia had been a subject very discussed by Italians at the cinemas.

These films, that unfortunately reflect an serious Italian problem, bring people to think about it. These are the most famous titles:

"IL GIORNO DELLA CIVETTA"

A captain arrives to Sicily from the "continent" and he tries to take an investigation about a man’s disappearance; so he finds the investigator, but the environment so gummy is very strong and so the captain is forced to go away without doing his job.

"MARY PER SEMPRE"

A film that tells about Mafia in Palermo, where the protagonist interprets the role of a teacher arrived in a prison in Palermo. He establishes a strong relationship with the boys who are in that prison.

"LA SCORTA"

This film tell about a real case happened to the judge Mr. Taurisano. It tell about a relationship that the judge establishes with the men who protect him. But the judge will be transferred at the end.

"IL PADRINO"

The producer Coppola paints a portrait about the fall of the Clans’ power in America; this films tells about the private Corleone’s life and their crimes. This film won three Oscar Prizes and it was interpreted by great actors like: Al Pacino, James Coan and Robert Duvele.
