It’s the second time that Italy is subjected to a flood. Infact the morfology and the geographical position makes it a dangerous area.

Three weeks ago it started to rain persistenly so that rivers and lakes became risky. The areas more damaged were plains and the fields along the river Po, the Alpi and Prealpi of Lombardia and some days later the south of Italy.

In 1994 we saw a similar fenomenon and we understood that these difficulties are the results of the human work and the urbanization. The buildings (farms. Houses, factories) set along the river bank are in danger and they create problematical situation when there’s the increasing of the water level to force the inhabitants to leave their houses. This situation has created lots of hardships.

People worry a lot about their houses and their villages. The civil protection worked very hard; they tried to help them so they searched a house or a safe rifuge. The evacuated people were very worried, afraid and this mayed and disperated because they saw their houses menaced.

The risk didn’t allow people to come back and look for their house but they could only see ruble.

The rimedies against this terrible situation are numerouses: today the politician talk about rebuilding improvements, resource for works and more care for the nature. We are very sorry for all the people involved in this tragedy we hope the campain to help them is succesfull in order to give support and an early recovery to a normal life.
