Mikael Näslund
My name is Mikael and I’m 17 years old. I’m blond and have blue eyes and my friends think I´m a rather calm person. I live outside a small town called Örnsköldsvik in Sweden. I live here with my three younger sisters and my parents and we have three cats.
Some of my interests are sports, music and being with friends. I like all sorts of sports, but mostly football and ice-hockey because I play football and have played ice-hockey some years ago. I listen to all sorts of music. I study at the Social Science programme at Parkskolan in Örnsköldsvik and I think it is a good school and a good programme. I study two foreign languages; The first language is English which I have studied for seven years. The other one is German which I have studied four years and I like that language better than English. I don’t really know what I want to do when I have finished school.
Every day, except at the weekends, I take the bus to school in the morning and home again after school is done. It takes about one hour single way, which is a long and boring hour.
When I’m not in school I play football and are with my friends, or take a tour with my mountain bike. Sometimes in the winter I go to ice-hockey matches and see our very good team MoDo Hockey, which has exported many good players like Peter Forsberg, Marcus Näslund, Niklas Sundström, Daniel and Henrik Sedin to NHL in North-America. I’m very intrested in sports, and I like to watch it on the television. The best time is when it is Olympic Games, World Championships or European Championships to see. I also like listening to music but I don’t play any instrument. This was a little about myself, a quite ordinary Swedish boy!
