What will Sweden do as chairmanship country in Eu ?

When Sweden takes over the leadership in EU, we get the possibility to bring up our most important questions which are Enlargement.

Enlargement:
The Enlargement is important to fortified peace, freedom, prosperity and democracy in whole Europe. The respect for human rights must also be improved.

Employment:
It should be full employment within EU is one of EU’s goals. Sweden also wants to have a good working environment. The Swedish chairmanship introduce new subjects on the agenda fore example: equality in working life, movement on biotechnology.

Environment:
The head points are the climate and chemicals. Climate: its up to Sweden to try to get climate agreement in EU, ore else the climate agreement will breakdown.
Chemicals: The chemicals that can’t be broken down by the nature will not be acceptable. The new thoughts have been criticised by the industry and from many members in EU. Sweden hopes that they will find a solution!

The chairmanship change between the 15 members every 6 months. The chairmanship
country, co-operate with the last chairmanship country. We will co-operate with France
and when Belgium takes over the chairmanship they are going to co-operate with us Sweden.
