For every generation there's one girl chosen, who rises against the vampires,the demons and all the forves of the darkness... she is the slayer
In 1992 the brilliant Joss Whedon (23 June 1964) wrote the scenario for the film:
Buffy - The Vampire Slayer, whose
interpreter of the protagonist was the young person Kristy Swanson.
Unfortunately this film did not have minimally the success and the notoriety
that conquered the serial
Tv Buffy The Vampire Slayer created in 1997 with the young SARAH MICHELLE
GELLAR(14 April 1977), as famous protagonist for her apparition in several film like:
Scream II, I know what you did last summer and finally we remember here for
passional lesbian kiss in Cruel Intention. Initially, presented to the
screen-test to obtain the role of Cordelia Chase, the Gellar obtained the role
of the Protagonist Buffy!!! The young Buffy Anne Summer was born in January of
1981 in Los Angeles. Her infancy was not an easy one, distracted from her
skating passion but disturbed by
her cousin Celia’s dead and by
her parents’ divorce. Just to the beginning of the adolescence, when it seems
to surmount her infantile shock and becomes the more popular girl of the Hemery
High School, her happiness will be interrupted but from her watcher Marrik, who
will tell her the history of the slayer and will reveal her that she is the
chosen!!! Therefore Buffy will undertake the fight against the demons, vampires
and the forces of the evil. She will be shocked from her “profession”,
and she’ll lose her friendships, then ,with her watcher’s
death, at the hands of a vampire she’ll have a psychological collapse
that will carry her to burn the gymnasium of her school because it was convinced
that there was a vampire. Once she was sent away from the
Hemery she’ll go to Sunnydale (as then we will
discover citizen where is situated the mouth of hell) with the mother to begin a
new life, unfortunately she’ll meet her new watcher, Mr. Giles, who will
reveal her that her task of slayer
must continue, and its companions of adventure Xander and Willow, who will help
her to exceed all adversities. As cherry on the cake will appear Angel (David
Boreanaz), her beautiful vampire that, for punishment of his sins, has received
from a monk a spirit making him
feel suffering and depreciation for his wrong-actions, with which she fell in
love . The adventures of Buffy are articulated in 5 wonderful series in which
“coups de théâtre” follow one other. As the large success obtained from
the telefilm to the 3th series, Angel leaves Sunnydale and gives Buffy the
chance to leave and the possibility
to live the life she has always dreamt, and begins the telefilm Angel of which
he isthe main character. It will be broadcast in Italy in November 2001!!! But
people can think that Buffy’s story is
only a brilliant invention of the great Joss Whedon, but is not true. In fact in
spite of what a lot of people think, the story of the slayer is a myth that
finds some replies in the history.
Boston,
1845: a ship of the pirates had
been hit from one series of terrible homicides. The attack ended when a young
woman arrived in city.
Virginia,
1866: The appearance of a civil war
shocked a community had already been proved. Such event ended when Lucy Hanover
arrived in town.
Territory
of Oakland, 1893: A series of wild
attacks claim the screw of seventeen colons. The homicides stopped when one young railway-woman visited the town.
Chicago,
May 1927: Fourtyone corpses were
found next to the Union Station. After the short arrival of this young woman,
the homicides ended mysteriously.
We have decided to speak about
this tele-film because we has been impressed from the history of Buffy and its
job of slayer and we hope to have made in you our same passion.
Even if this is a simple imagination or a reality, the idea of the slayer exists, so if you believe or not, remind to watch behind you because it could be something in ambush in the shadow.
