Whoopi Goldberg was born 45 years ago in New York and her real name in Caryn Elaine Johnson.
Since she was eight she works in theatre with the "Helena Rubenstein Children's Theatre" Company.
Particularly determinate in her life and her profession, Whoopi studies acting in New York High School for Performing Arts in order then to transfer herself in California and to found the Saint Diego Repertory Theatre.
She begins her theatrical career obtaining immediately a great success and in 1983 she starts as trainee in Broadway;
