Bulgarian Teenagers

Adolescence is the time when young people have little problems with the adults.

So, you seek new things, like adventures, realize things which adults call illussions. That is why on the one hand , you have problems: you have a lot to study and almost no time for discos, you have impoortant love problems and nobody cares about them. You want your parents to be 28 but they are already 40. On the other hand, however, you have no problems : you work off your fury on your younger brother and feel relaxed, you cry on your mother’s shoulder and then she solves the problems, you listen to black music and spend more than an hour on the phone. That is what I call life.

Therefore it is wonderful to be a teenager in Bulgaria. You can go to a café after the hard day’s work and relax with a couple of friends. By the way it is the Bulgarian teacher who know how dynamic and difficult our school program is. I study at the Foreign Language School Romain Rolland.
To be outstanding student means to have the highest mark. That is why we wait for the weekends so impatiently. Personally, I spend much of my time out with my friends. During the day we listen to music or go to the cinema. In Bulgaria different circles of music are formed, firstly depending on different kinds of music and then on their personal interests and style of dressing. During the evening we throw parties or go to someone’s place and stay the night.

We spend the weekends out of home. And then a crazy time comes! Sometimes during the evening we borrow a car of a friend of ours and joyride for long. But we are just alert for cops because in Bulgaria you cannot drive car if you are under 18 years old. Besides, we do not do active sport. The PE lessons at school are not enough. But when we really want to relax we got to keep-fit lessons or go swimming.
