The
futur show, an important show, about
technological advances the society
will meet in the future, has been taking place for seven years in Bologna,
This
event started, as usual, on 19th
April and it finished on 22nd of the same month near the Saloon of
Information and Communication; it was certainly a very special edition.
This
show reaffirmed its vocation: to
challenge and propose itself like the event of communication and
try to speak with the great public catching the media’s attention.
Despite
the fact that the recent world
economy isn’t very prosperous, the Futur show gave to new sectors and new
subject matters, some opportunities: for example the structure which hosted the
event was bigger than the one used last year and it was divided in different
areas, to inform the visitors not
to get lost.
During
these 3 days, thousand of people went to Bologna from different parts of Italy;
as ever the most involved people were the teen-agers, attracted by the various
tournaments of videogames or their favourite sports.
Besides,
this year, there were a lot of stands about music, nature and sport organized
for the first time.
In
every edition of Futurshow, the organizing committee choses a subject to pair
with the past year: this matter will be the emblem of the event; the 2002 is
dedicated to the heroes of the 11 September because they want to
underline a “man’s revival, stronger than last
year thanks to the discovery of his vulnerability.
The
experts say that, before planning
the future, it is necessary that
men and women are able to live in peace.
In
my point of view this show is very interesting and
challanging: we have the opportunity to know new people, to see some the high level tournaments, but especially to know what kind
of future we’ll meet.
Personally
I haven’t had the pleasure to go there, but certainly it might be a good
chance to go together .
