Thursday, on 31^st October a catastrophe has shaken our country, the earth has quaked in the south of Italy, in Molise.

The earthquake destroyed many buildings: houses and dairy farms, but the most damaged of all is a school which collapsed completely.

Initially dead children were six, but after hours of search the number increased till twenty-six. A tragedy that has concerned children, only.

People who live there are in despair. They have lost house, all work of a life, but the worst is for the ones who lost their children under that tragedy.

The villages of San Giuliano di Puglia and Larino will not see their children playing , enjoying and screaming in the streets, as it had to be in the night of Halloween, in the night of witches or in popular holiday.

The solidarity of all Italy is really impressive.

Most has contributed through pouring in bank, but also sending food, blankets, and help. There is also a competition through the mobile phone, in fact if a person sends a sms he can give one euro for this reason.

These villages will be rebuilt through our solidarity but it’s also important to rebirth of hope for people that are closed inside their sorrow. Giving a trickle of hope in the future. I know that it is difficult to be positive in the future, but it is important not to forget and to keep lived souls of children in our hearts, forever.

P.S. While I am writing this article I can hear on TV a programme which uptades the result of the money collection. The initiative has got a great success. I’m very happy.
