JOINED by VOLLEYBALL

In Italy, Volleyball, is a sport played by a lot of young people, even if, unfortunately, it isn’t taken into account like football, infact only a lot of programmes on television, are dedicated to the later, while volleyball can be watched on TV very rarely.

Volleyball is a team sport based on the friendship and unity of a group; these values determine a perfect understanding within the group permitting a fair and better game.

You can have, an example, when we play together at school, in physical education: lot of us don’t like this sport and they aren’t good at it because of the harmony amongst the group, but the ones who like it enjoy themselves a lot.

We like it very much, infact we play in a team that’s called "BAITA". This sport has given us some great personal satisfactions like the victory of the national championships in Brescia in May 2000.

We got this fantastic result because of the unity there was between us and also the hard training that we had to face week after week.

Our trainer, Maurizio, helped and encouraged us in the difficult times.

We hope however, that, in the future, volleyball can be considered more from the sport authority considering that Italian women’s national team won the world championship showing that a serious work, even if hidden produces great result!
