Sundays on foot

To remedy to the pollution problem, in Italy we recur on Sundays on foot. In this days the streets are closed at the traffic and are organized walks or cycling, shows, guided visits in the city, sport competition, etc. an example for all, during all the day, the admission at the museums is free, so people can be guided discovering some masterpieces present in their own city.

People go on foot, by bike, by roller or by skate. There are also campaign for the sensivity on using public transports that, differently from other countries, in Italy aren’t exploited very much.

This days are very useful not only to reduce the percentage of thin dusts in the air, but also to pass an afternoon with your family discovering the joy of stay together and discover new aspect of your city that, with the frenzy rithms of the daily life, you have never seen. I think that these days have above all a symbolic meaning. They are useful to get people sensible about a problem that see us as starring: the pollution. Perhaps it isn’t much, but that’s a start! What do you think about it? Let me know!
