Today's popular music is all about sexy clothes and image. We complain about this change, and try to involve all bad examples of music. We also write about the music that we love in order to compare the good and bad music with each other.

Pop is the biggest and most common music style. Almost everything you hear on radio and TV is pop, and it sucks. The pop-artists can neither write their own music nor lyrics, or sing (with some exceptions). They just have to look nice and be able to dance. Then they perform exactly as in their music-videos, and it's almost always playback. Their influence on children isn't that good, with their wild life and provocative clothing, because the fans are mostly very young and want to be like them. Swedish dance bands is a genre that we think is a question of age because almost every one we know over 50 years old like these bands. For all of you who don't know this genre we can tell the basic rules of this very bad music style.

Number 1: All bands must sound the same.
Number 2: All bands must be very gay.
Number 3: Every song text must be about love.
Number 4: All bands must smile and look silly.
And number 5: Every band member must know how
to give old people first aid in case of breathing problems
(because that's their usual fan).

Country has to begin with a style that is really annoying, the silly cowboy-hats and boots and the country dance when everyone jumps around like some stiff necked giraffe in their silly clothes. Also the music itself is bad, they usually use the guitars in the wrong way and their voices tremble (for example Dolly Parton) and that makes them sound like sheep. It is hard to write our feelings about country in words but we can say that we really think that this genre sucks.

Good music We have our own band so of course we like our own songs. Metallica is an all-time favourite simply because they are better than all other bands. If we should compare the genres we have complained about in this article with Metallica then you could say that Metallica has style and a gift in writing good music both good instrumentally and with very good lyrics. We are not some Metallica-nerds that only care about their music, we listen to many bands with different styles like Slipknot, RHCP, Offspring, Nirvana, Mesuggah, Foo Fighters, Jimi Hendrix, Korn, SOAD and also different Classical music for inspiration in our own song writing. So we do not complain on people only because they don't play "Metallica-style".
