This year the school trip destination was Roma, and other two classes of our school came with us. We started our trip by bus at 7 oclock on 27 March from Monza, and we arrived 9 hours later at Tivoli with one stop only: Firenze.
The bus was a double-decker one and it looked comfortable, it was reality slow and with limited space, in fact the taller ones couldnt sit confortably in their seats so they had to extend their legs in the central corridor.
After this long journey we arrived, at Tivoli where we visited the wonderful Villa DEste about 500 one of the most beautiful in the world, thanks to his garden and its fountains arranged in 3 levels.
Unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel, after the visit, in Roma we had a bad surprise.
The travel agency made a booking mistake and there were 10 places less, but the problem didnt take our class and we settled in our room, the 310. The fate wanted than beyond us (Simone and Luca) there were also Stefano and Andrea.
The first day continued with the supper at the restaurant hotel than, although it didnt serve fantastic dinner, it was assaulted by fifty-six hungry students.
After that we spent our time in a disco-pub where also the teachers danced unbridled; above all the prof. Mangiagalli who seems younger-looking. We returned about 1 oclock in our room we pawned not to sleep.
The second day, after a good breakfast, the true visit in Roma started: we visited from Colosseo to Altare della Patria, from Piazza Navona to Fontana di Trevi, from Fori Imperiali to Campidoglio. For two days a guide, toured us, telling about the history of Rome and the Vaticano.
At the end of the day we were all tired, but the program included Roma by night, and so we went to Piazza di Spagna, and when we returned, after a drink, we went in our rooms
We passed the last day at the Musei Vaticani and in San Pietro, than, honestly, beyond to be very beautiful they were very interesting much more than we could think.
We ate in a restaurant and after we started our journey back home, and we arrived late in the evening.
We hope we will repeat this wonderful experience also next year, with the teachers that in spite of knowing them as very strict they were very sociable and friendly during the whole journey.
