The Italian music, in the last 30 years, has had a quick evolution through some singer-composer who have transformed it radically, like The Beatles in England.
In the 60's, Battisti, a singer-composer, emerged and he made a big hit in the history of Italian music.
A critical of those years said that his songs were not suitable for that age . In fact, nowdays, his songs reflect musical canons of the 90's.
For example, "Blue water, clear water" and "Thoughts and words", are still danced today.
Parallely, another "big" of Italian music emerged: Mina, called "the voice" because her voice is suitable for all musical kinds and for all times.
The mark of her success has remained till our days with her latest album "Light".
With the song "Little big love", we recall Claudio Baglioni, a big singer-composer of 60's and 80's, he defines his songs as "musical poetry".
The Italian music doesn't finish here, because its story is rich with other "big names", like De Andrč, Cocciante , Pino Daniele, Eros Ramazzotti and Irene Grandi.
Jovanotti and Ligabue have really gained a reputation.
