The Lifestyle of Youth, Durable or not? What kind of lifestyle and attitude will the young people of today carry into the future? How can we get some influence of it? As a matter of fact, the youth will be the world, and they’re will be the future. I want you to take care of it! But how…? Where did respect go? In a comparison with young people from about 50-70 years ago, young people of today have changed. Before, they mostly helped their parents at home, that was the priority, friends and hobbies were the last priority. But today you prioritise in an other way, the sparetime is above all! From personal experiences (I’ve got a younger sister) I can promise you that they always do what they just want to do, and nothing else! The respect for other people doesn’t exist, specially NOT for parents (they just are a kind of fools not knowing anything about how to treat their children well)! They never help at home, but IF they are going to do it, they will just do it in their own ways and after hours and hours of nagging. I mean, normal people just don’t put their feet up on the table where other people are going to sit. And another point: How many were, in former times, wearing his cap or hat when he was eating?! Where are the ethical and moral reasons? It’s such a big difference! But what will the world look like in about 50 years? I think the really one and true word for my little sister, and I’m afraid a big part of the rest of youth too, is a big pig-head! Which isn’t durable. Why the growing bullying? In researches, I’ve read that the bullying in schools just become bigger and more habitual. But why? I can see that many reasons for the bullying, is in how the children were treated in their childhood. For example, if their parents are separated, maltreatment, enough of love from parents, bad experiences, the list can be very long and it will never stop. But I think the main point is self-confidence! With a bad childhood, where the parents are not giving enough of love and attention, the children can feel insufficient and insecure which can lead to a bad self-confidence and a bad attitude in their teenage and as a grown up. They can’t find themselves with the help from their home, so they have to get it in another way, for example by bullying someone. Because then you push someone down and find yourself much better, which is a big problem in the schools where the bullying is just growing. That’s why it’s so important for parents to teach their children early what’s ethically and morally wrong! And it’s the same with school, because school is a unique place to sway the pupils about the ethical and moral rules. You can’t keep on pushing other innocent people down, just to make yourself feel as a better person, it isn’t ethically right! But I can give you some advice to a way to get better self-confidence, here you are:
5 ways to get a better self-confidence
Many of the Swedish children are living with the risk to die prematurely, the reason is too much instant food and the bad physical education, which can lead to hardening of the arteries. About 20% of the ten year olds in Sweden are overweight and 3% are too fat and have a menacing danger for their health. The heart specialists are worried and will introduce physical education once a day as a practise, because we need to get the children and youth from the sofa! The hardening of the arteries can lead to heart attacks and thrombosis in an early age, which I can see as a big problem! And the reason is the new lifestyle. I think that the lifestyle of youth today isn’t durable, because too many comparisons I’ve read just show some negative results. But I can also see a big difference in a positive way, because many of the older youth today take some more responsibility in their jobs and studies than before, which I can see is durable and positive for the future. But in the end I’ve got to say, that I think the world is hovering and we can never take it down again.
