Abortion or not is a question that some of the women in the world will wanted to ask herself, I am pregnant can I give birth to this baby now?! Is abortion ethical and legal or it’s murder?

Abortion is a subject much talked about. The questions about abortion is very different between different cultures, specially in the east is abortion very critical and negative, but in Sweden we think that it is up to everybody to take responsibility for the action. It is a human right to decide if you want to have a baby or not. In Sweden we have free abortion from 1975. The woman can have an abortion until the 18th week. You can only find this right in a third of the world. In all times and in all cultures abortion has always taken place. People have found subtitles from 900 B.C about abortion where they have discussed if it abortion is ethical and legal.

Abortion in other countries

The breakthrough signifies that the women who had knowledge about abortion were pursued. During the 14th century there was very severe punishment if you had an abortion. In the Scandinavian countries and many European countries the woman decides if she wants to have an abortion or not. In Norway, Denmark, France and Greece they have free abortion to week 12. Great Britain and Holland have free abortion to week 34. Ireland and Poland have very severe laws, because they are a influenced by the Roman Catholic church. Abortion is forbidden in Ireland but since 1992 they are allowed to do it abroad. In Poland abortion is only allow if the womans´s life is in danger or if she has been rape.

Free abortion

But isn’t free abortion an assumption for every child to be welcome? Or is it a murder to have an abortion? Is it a shame to have an abortion? At the same time, when we talk about shame, remember not to judge a human being. We never know why a woman has an abortion, we can never know how a woman is feeling inside.
