 My name is Madeleine Nyström and I am 17 years old. I study the Social Science Programme at Parkskolan in Örnsköldsvik. Örnsköldsvik is a small town that lies in north Sweden. I live in a big red house with my mother Margareta and my older sister Linn. Our house is situated in a little village called Kubbe. It’s about 50 kilometres outside Örnsköldsvik. We have three pets, two cats and one guinea pig. In my spare time I like to exercise. In the winter I ski or skate and in the summer I play football. I play in a club called Anundsjö IF. I also play football in school. We are 10 boys and 10 girls who practise together three times every week. During the weekends I like to spend time with my friends and we often go out and dance. I like to travel and this summer I went to New York, it was a fantastic city. I also been to Turkey, Bulgaria and England. I don’t watch TV so often but my favourite programme is ”Ally McBeal” I have seen all the episodes. In the future I would like to travel to different countries and take part of other cultures. After that I want to move to a bigger city and continue my studies.
