My name is Tom Haggis, I’m 17 and I live in Whitchurch, a town close to Chester.
I am in yr13 at Bishop Heber High School, and this year I am studying art, politics and History.

I am contributing to freeway because I dropped English language as a subject for my A2 course; however I would still like to keep my finger firmly in the English language pie.

My main interests inside and outside of school are art, music and politics. I really enjoy art and I want to do a graphic design course at university.
I play bass guitar for two bands, Siberia and Inigo, I listen to music a lot in my spare time and I love going to gigs and festivals, my favourite band is INTERPOL.

Politics is the subject I find most interesting at school, and I like to keep up to date with all the goings on in the houses of parliament.
I used to be heavily involved in sport, playing rugby, football and tennis fairly seriously, but I dislocated my knee last year so I can’t really play sport at a competitive level anymore, but I still enjoy playing sport with my friends and supporting Manchester United.
I suppose my other major interest in life would be ‘The Simpsons’ season 1-10, I don’t like the new stuff and the film was awful.
