Every year our school proposes cultural exchanges with English, German or Swedish schools.
This year we are involved with the exchange with Germany because were studying along English also the German language, so we hosted German partners here in Monza, from the 1st to the 8th of March.
The group of the partecipant to this exchange, compared to the past years, was rather numerous: we were 20 Italian and 20 German students.
The itinerary was so organised:
every morning we went to school together with our partner and for two hours they stayed in our class with us to attend the lessons, and then they stayed with their teachers at school in the Assembly Hall.
In the afternoon one of our teacher, always with their teachers , took them to t
visite museums, churches in Monza and Milan, and also the most important sights of Monza like the Park and the Formula 1 - Car racing truck.
The first evening, we brought them to a pub in Monza: the London Bridge, to celebrate their arrival.
The second evening, together with our teachers, who have organize the exchange, and with the headmaster, we had a meeting at school for a wonderful "Welcome Party".

The following evenings we took them to boowling, to the pubs, and Saturday we spent a day in Pavia, where we visited the "Certosa" and many other interesting sights.
We werent tired enough because after that we went all together to a disco.
The 8th was a sad day because the moment of their departure arrived.
We took the last photos together and, the moment of the greetings and saying good byes arrived, most of us started crying because this exciting experience was ending.
Now we long the arrival of the eight of June, the day of our departure to Radolfzell where our friends are waiting for us and go on this extraordinary experience.
In the meantime we go on getting in touch by e-mail or post.We hope to improve our German language too during our stay there.
Well let you know the second part of our exchange into next Issue.
