Islamic religion in the world

In Afghanistan, 85% of the population are Sunni- Muslims and about 14-
15% are Shia- Muslims. The difference between Islam and Christianity are
not too big, because in the beginning, the two both religions and the
Judaism, come from the same ground.
Islam is a religion that guides it’s follower every new step in his or her life. It’s kind of a way of living. According to the Muslims, Islam is a new reading of the Christianity. It was the prophet Mohammed who got the new reading, and since then, nobody ever got a new reading, and that’s why Muslims say that their religion is the only true one.
In Afghanistan, the Talibans have been controlling the country very hard. They have put in a hard way of living for all the people who lives in the country. It’s extremely forbidden to be a Christian or a Jew. It could be the last thing you’d do in your life. Public executions is a part of an everyday life.

In January 2001, Mullah Mohammed Omar, made known that everybody who converted to Christianity or Judaism, would be executed.

The Talibans way to power
Today, It’s almost five years since he Islamic taliban movement sprang from nowhere to seize the Southern Afghan city of Kandahar. The Taliban have launched major offensives each summer since then, taking new cities and gradually extending their rule throughout most of Afghanistan, currently holding more than 80% of the country.
The Taliban’s popularity with many Afghans initially surprised the country’s warning mujaheddin factors. As ethnic Pashtoons, a large part of Afghanistan’s Pashtoon community, disillusioned with existing ethnic Tajik and Uzbek leaders. Ordinary Afghans, weary of the prevailing lawlessness in many parts of the country, were often delighted , by Taliban successes in stamping out corruption’s, restoring peace and allowing commerce to flourish again. Their refuse to deal with the existing warlords whose rivalries had caused so much killing and destruction also earned them resprect.

The Islamic religion are increasing in Sweden, while there are many people from different countries where they’ve got Islam as their religion. Some people may think that this is a big problem, but what’s wrong in a religion?
It’s just that people in Sweden aren’t that used to people who wears veils and have got different customs then what we are used to. But to make Sweden, and the rest of the world as well, a better place, we have to respect each other. We have to go half the way each and make up some sort of agreement with each other. We who live in Sweden, are not too used to put on veils and obey every single rule in other countries. Why should they do everything that we think is right, but we shouldn’t respect their rules and do what’s right for them. That’s why we should try to find a way where we all can go, so we don’t need all the prejudices that we have in the world today.
