Poverty or wellfare?
What is poverty?
There are many definitions of poverty. A very poor person is according to
the World Bank, a person who has less than one dollar/a day for his living.
With the World Bank’s definition of poverty, more than one billion of the
earth’s six billion humans are very poor.
When the UN checks the poverty they take a number of factors in
consideration. The UN checks how many years the human lives, how many
persons who are able to read and if they have a tolerable level of living.
I like the way the UN checks the poverty in countries. I don’t think the
World Bank’s definition of poverty gives us the correct number of poor
persons in the world. Because people in poor countries, often have their own
land and cattle where they can grow food. So, maybe people in Africa don’t
have much money, but they still can have a tolerable level of living.

I’ve read an article where they had interviewed poor men and women. They
emphasized that poverty is the lack of food, land, cattle, water, and
healthcare
Less poverty
It makes progress within the different spheres. But to achieve the goals more efforts from both rich and poor countries are required.
Africa and the poverty
Africa’s poverty depends on bad economic politics. It does that Africa has
very low production. In Sweden we have an effective economic system and
because of that we produce very much. The debt for Afrika’s poverty carries
the politics that has forced this politic right through. But, the clever
west world, that convinces the African to force through this uncapitalistic
politic, should also feel guilty.
