Now it's autumn and what is better then to see a movie? Nothing.
We have reviewed some movies, which you can see if you want to.
It is Troy, Taking Lives and The Missing.

Troy (2004)

Is an action/adventure movie starring Orlando Bloom, Brad Pitt and Eric Bana. It takes place in the antiquity of Greece, where the love between Paris, the prince of Troy and Helena, the queen of Sparta takes place. A war between the two countries takes place when the young Paris kidnaps the beautiful Helena from her older husband, king Menelaos. Then a bloody revenge takes place and Menelaos brother, the powerful king Agamemnon, see his chance to attack the prosperous Troy...

We thinks was a very good movie, it was well done. If you like movies that takes place in the past and are an old history movie.

Taking Lives (2004)

Taking Lives is a psychological thriller with Angelina Jolie and Olivier Martinez in the lead roles. Angelina Jolie plays a special agent for FBI, Ileana Scott. There is a murderer on the run, he steals peoples identities, their credit cards, their lives. Ileana gets the mission to get the murderer in jail as soon as possible. But the murderer is really smart. He smashes in the faces of the victims so no one but him shall be able to tell who it is. A guy called James says he has seen the last murder with his own eyes. He tells Ileana about it and in the same time he falls in love with her. One of the other people who has something to do with the murder, says that this guy is her son who died in a car accident many years ago. But his name wasn’t James. James tells in the same time Ileana that he doesn’t have a good relationship with his mother. He says she always liked his brother Martin much more.

The thrill becomes more intense. Ileana and James fall in love, but Ileana still has no idea about who’s the murder. In the end Ileana finds James in the elevator where he has killed his own mother, the old lady who told Ileana about the car accident…

We're not going to write the end, you’ll find out by yourself. But we can say that we really loved this movie. It’s scary, the script is very well written and the actors are great. Angelina Jolie is terrific in this movie. The movie is not meant for kids, but for older people. We warmly recommend it.

The Missing (2003)

The movie is about a woman in the end of 1800. She lives with her husband and her two daughters on the countryside. One day her biological father comes to her house and asks her husband to live there for a couple of days. He is Indian and he looks really dark. The lead character is played by Cate Blanchett. She gets really scared when he comes, because she thinks that he killed her mother. One day when her husband and her daughters are out in the forest, riding their horses, one of the horses returns without it’s rider on. She gets really worried and jumps on the horse, riding out in the wood to look for them. She finds her husband murdered, and one of her daughters, the youngest, is crying and saying that her sister is kidnapped.

The only one who knows who has taken her daughter, is the old Indian. Her father. So she decides that she has to swallow her pride to save her daughter. The Indian tells her that the man who kidnapped the little girl is one of the most dangerous men in the whole country. It becomes a very difficult mission to search for the girl, but are they going to find her, before it’s too late?

We thought the movie was really good. Cate Blanchett´s and Tommy Lee Jones´ (the old Indian) performances are fantastic. So also are the little girls, who played the parts as her daughters. We recommend the movie to anyone, especially because it wasn´t really scary, just a very good, well – written movie.
