People all over the world depend on music, they don´t listen to only one kind of music. In the world today we have a great amount of music styles, depending much on the culture or etnicities. Maybe we don´t see how important music is in our lives.  Research in our school We did a research in our school in Örnsköldsvik, about music styles and how often we actually listen to music. It was more than 50% of those who participated who listened to Pop and Rock and on second place came RnB. Third was Hiphop. There were only 2% of them who listened to some other kind of music. We also gave them the question for how long they spend time to music in one day and more than 85% answered 1-4 hours a day. One important question we gave them was if they download music from the Internet, which is illegal, but more than 80% download music. Through this research we think that music is a big part in teenagers lives. Our own thoughts We have some thoughts about music in Örnsköldsvik. We think that our town should spend more money on music events here in Örnsköldsvik. Because teenagers in the age of 13-17 haven´t any place to share their music interests with each other. Maybe the town should spend more money to invite bigger artists and have a great consert instead of having some bands no one knows about, or have heard before. We think that bigger events with artists can make more money for our town. A bid like that would make more teenagers happy and feel good about going out with friends and share the big music interest.
