Most young people my age are confused about their future.
That means they still don’t know what exactly they want to
study after graduating from high school and on what particular area to focus.
This is a common problem among teenagers in Bulgaria and solving it turns out
to be not an easy task.
It is rather a very serious and complicated matter on which your lifetime would depend on.
Here is why students facing this dilemma often wander ‘in the middle of nowhere’.
There are many paths which they may choose to go, it is like standing in a crossroad
and ambiguously weighing every way.
Some do not have much difficulty in completing this task simply because they are absolutely
sure in their future goals. For example, a friend of mine is a devoted mathematician who has
been eagerly solving all kinds of mathematical problems since long ago.
She never hesitated in her aims, nor did she ever doubt the importance of mathematics.
Now she wants to develop her ability and to proceed with her study in this area.
In addition, there are people who dare to reach their dreams (although sometimes naive)
and choose to try their talent in performances such as acting, dancing, singing, modeling, etc.
However, it is a risky decision to make because such a profession is not always reliable.
Furthermore, many who strive for perfection prefer to study abroad as a chance for receiving a better
education and more experience. While others prefer to stay in their motherland and to make their career here.
To sum up, life offers us various opportunities.
What is left to us is the task to find our strengths which is often quite difficult, and then to just develop them.
