The cinema was born in 1895; the inventors are Lumière brothers; it was a new entertainment
because it could show real life.
At the beginning the cinema was silent until the years 30s.
The greatest artistic director: an American Griffith (1875-1948) the first who experimented the filmic language;
a Russian Eisenstein.
Charlie Chaplin is one of the first actors of the comic style.
In 1927 was produced the first voiced film : " JAZZ SINGER " .
Between the 30s and the 50s we have the great period of Hollywood, the cinema made of costumes.
The cinema has great influence on the behaviour of the people.
In my opinion, the cinema today is less frequented than in the past because of the development of technology:
now people for example have got all their video recorder and prefer stay at home watching movies,
than going to the cinema.
But to see movies at the cinema is more exciting because you can see special effects that you can’t see at TV.
Anyway to spend an afternoon to the cinema is always pleasant.
