Valentino Rossi…..seven times champion all around the world....
Valentino Rossi was born on 16 February in 1979 in Urbino and grew in Tavullia . He started driving motorbikes very very young.
His story is really extraordinary in fact he became for seven times world champion.He won with different motorbikes: Aprilia, Honda and finally with Yamaha in the MotoGP.
In 1996 he was only 16 years old, in spite of his youth he became a phenomenon all over the world.
In 1997 he got some important victories and became world champion once again.
In 1998 Rossi changed motorbike category from 125 to 250
class and in 1999 he won his world champion MotoGP.
Then he changed from 250 class to 500. In 2000 he debuted with Honda but he became world champion in 2001.
Valentino is the second pilot, after Phil Read, that has won in his career 125, 250 and 500 classes.
| 2002 and 2003 were two important years for his career because he held sway over MotoGP. In 2004 he changed his team and started to drive with Yamaha. In spite of skeptics he became world champion once again. This year, Valentino won eight competitions and in seven competitions he was the second and finally he was able to win in the MotoGP. Valentino Rossi, obtained an "honorem" degree by "Carlo BO" University in Urbino. Now people speaks about him and his probably participation in Formula 1, to drive Ferrari, but who can say what cud happen to him and his career? Certainly at the age of 26 it isn’t all over..... |
