Margareta Byström

Hi!

My name is Margareta Byström and I live with my family in a small village called Sidensjö. It’s situated 25 km outside of Örnsköldsvik and has about 1200 inhabitants. It’s very unusual to hear someone call me Margareta, it’s often teachers that do that. Everybody that knows me calls me Maggan. My family consists of my dad, Ingvar who is 58 years old and works with politics, my mum felicidad and she’s 53 years old and was born in the Philippines. She moved here to Sweden for 20 years ago, when she and dad got married. And last but not least, my sister Kristina. She is two years older than me and graduated from school this summer. Now she’s planning on applying to the dentist-program in Umeå. In my spare-time I play football in Sidensjö IK. I used to play floorball too, but I’ve quit playing this year because I don’t have the time for it any longer. I study the social science program at Parkskolan and it's rather boring, but not all the time. In the future I see myself as a successful buisnesswoman with my own, very succesful company. But before I become wealthy I plan on going to the Philippines and learn to speak visaya, wich is the language my mother speaks. So, that was a little bit about myself and I hope you've enjoyed it.
