The different good manners in Europe and China

 

Travelling to all corners of the world gets easier and easier, but the different usages and customs of varies ethical groups contribute to make a wealthy world articulate of big interest anthropology.

An example is China and Europe.

 CHINE

Way of life

The Chinese wake up early in the morning at 5.00 in summer, while an hour  later in winter.

In the city the offices open at 7.30, the shops at 9.00. The working day is of eight hours and it  finishes at 17.00 and the shops close generally at 20.00. Everybody goes to bed soon and a night life doesn’t exist.

Cooking

 

Cooking is a more interesting thing for Chinese people than everything. It must respect rules, be tasty, dietetical and wealthy.

At breakfast they eat dry rice, buns or bread vapour cook at lunch they have light food; at night rice or vegetables with a little of fish or meal.

Their fundamental philosophy forces need to know to taste Chinese food.

Clothes

Habitual Chinese dressing is considered by west a sort of rigorous uniform, with neutral colours; only now, in big cities woman like wearing colour clothes; but the idea of

western fashion is very far.

Free time

                  

In free time the Chinese prefer meet and organize play outdoor games in way less austere. Typical plays are: “tico qi”, “xhang qu”, “wei qu” and playing card but without bets of money.

On Sunday people go to the park, lake, hilly, showing that  they are  enjoying it.

Sports activity, today, spread between young. Everybody knows the diplomacy of ping pong , sport in which  Chinese people excel, but the basketball, the fencing, tai j quan, jian shu, wu shu….are sports followed by about ten millions of young, too.

 

The calendar

The Chinese follow solar international calendar since 1912, but have preserved their ancient lunar calendar, used by farmers. 

The school

School years is shared in two six months: it begin in February and the holidays go on a month in summer and one in winter. The students prefer very much engineering and technology, showing be meticulous, without surrender nothing difficult.

Greetings

Good manners are very important in China. When they meet somebody, they bow and the greeting is made by pressing both hands together at the chest.

In China it’s common to have business banquets, but you mustn’t discuss business during the meal.

 

EUROPE

Way of life

In Europe people wake up in the morning   at about 7.00 because the working day starts very early. They work from 8.00 to 18.00 but  people love going out after dinner to go to pubs, discotheques and night locals.

Cooking

European food is renowned in all the world and it’s very welcome, too.

European cuisine is rich of colours, smell and tastes and it has three essential makers: attention to property nutritionally of nourishments, preventions of health and protection of surrounding.

It is very different from  North European countries and South ones. The first use a lot of the butter and the second use a lot of olive-oil.

The wine has a particular importance, too and France and Italy are the biggest producers of world.

Clothes

The European wear elegant or sporting clothes or change according different  situations. Jeans and t-shirt are items of clothing more prefer by young in daily life.

French produces clothes of great fashion in all the world and the capital of fashion  is Paris.

Italy is very renown with the fashion show in Milan, too. The biggest stylists are Armani, Gucci, Prada, Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana and Chinese ones love very much our clothes. 

Free-time

In their free-time the European love doing a lot of things.

Playing  football, swimming, dancing but again going to the cinema, to the theatre, reading a book and trekking. They love very much going  shopping and travelling.

Fencing, riding, volleyball, basketball are sports that are having very successful in the last years.

Sport Activity has increased thank to the advice of doctors to reduce obesity of young and olds.

The school

European schools change from country to country. School education is compulsory from the age of five to the age of sixteen and in each country there’s a Local Education Authority that is responsible for all school in the area. Europe have four school: nursery education, primary, secondary school education and university. In all Europe you must study English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Physical education and Modern language along with other subjects.

Greeting

In Europe when you meet people you should shakes your hand firmly while looking them straight in the eyes.

You can have a business lunch and do business as you eat. 

After all, in the world there are different way of life and when you travel you must respect them!!!!
