The Hunger in the World
To the world there are two million people that suffer of hunger. The number could decrease but the interest of the little (powerful) ones prevails on the destiny of the many (fragile) ones.
The Ministers of the agriculture of various parts of the world gather every year on the occasion of the World Summit on the feeding: every year the Summit faces the critical matter to feed the increasing world population.
Every day hundreds of million of people in the world fight against the hunger because big part of the arable ground is used for the cultivation of cereals destined the breeding animals to feed rather than for cereals destined to the human feeding.
The matters of the ownership and the control of the earth have always been themes of great importance in political issues but the problem as the earth is exploited has always aroused less interest in the political discussuions.
The decision to use the earth to create an artificial food chain has brought hundreds of million of human beings to the hunger in the world. It is important to keep in mind that an acrid of earth cultivated for cereals produces proteins in measure five times greater in comparison with an acrid of earth destined for the breeding of meats.
A very puzzling data concerns the exports of wheat of USA because the two bystanders of this are destined breeding of the meats, instead whether to satisfy the requirement of food of the least well-to-do people.
The conversion of the cereals crops destined to the breeding instead that to feed people continues in irreversible way in many Countries despite the increasing number of people that are starving.
The consequences of all of this have dramatically been shown on what happened in Ethiopia in 1984, when thousand of people are dead of hunger. Unfortunately the public opinion was not aware of the fact that at that time Ethiopia was using part of its agricultural grounds for the flax production of cotton seeds to export in the United Kingdom and in other European countries as cereals foragers destined to the breeding.
At the moment there are million the acrid ones of earth in the Third world that are exclusively used for the production of food destined to the breeding of the European livestock.
The irony of the actual system of production is that million of rich consumers of the industrialised countries die because of tied up illnesses to the abundance of food illnesses provoked by an excessive and immoderate assumption of animal fats; while the poor ones in the Third world die for hunger and diseases caused by bad-nutrition.
