One of the most popular sports in the world is ice hockey. Especially in the North America, and in Europe. In the greatest league of them all, NHL there are players from all over the world. Most of them is from the USA or Canada. Sweden have about 45 players in NHL. That is quite much for a small country like Sweden. Many of the Swedish players comes from Örnsköldsvik, and Modo Hockey. Is it just a luck that Modo Hockey have bring up so many skilled players?

- No, i dont think so. Because in Örnsköldsvik you have a opportunity to choose a "Hockey education", but onlt if you´re good enough. Their education is not so diffrent from most of the other educations. The only thing they have that the other students doesn´t have is Ice Hockey . In that way they get away from school for a couple of hours to practice hockey. And hockeyplayers in Örnsköldsvik also have very many great idols from the city, Peter Forsberg, Markus Näslund, The Sedin tvins just to namesake some of them. And in think that many of the players in this city think´s " If they can do it, - i can do it also!"
