From time immemorial people used different opiats in order to get enjoyable feelings, to eliminate physical and psychological discomfort, to make the social contacts easier or to realize rituals. Back in the days the connections among different continents and areas weren`t strong enough and constant. That`s why in different parts of the world people used different substances which caused active reversals in humans`psyche.These opiats didn`t used to influance on their lifes just because they were used only in special cases - religious or social.

But that`s not what`s happening nowadays. Time has changed, people have another way of thinking as well as another way of life. They are working all day, they have problams that have to be solved. And some day they decide that they want to run away, to forget the surrounding reality and think of nothing. That`s the day when they turn their eyes to narcotics. Most of these people are psychically or emotionally unstable or don`t have their own state of mind. Teenagers are among these people. They are opiats` easiest victims.

In Bulgaria and in most of the countries narcotics are illegal. But that doesn`t make them hard to be found. On the contrary, they are more wanted than ever.
Amazing fact is that the number of people smoking marijuana in Holland decreased after it became legal. What does it mean? If marijuana become legal, teenagers just won`t be so interested in it.

They want to be able to make their own choice whether to smoke or not. If it`s forbidden they`ll do their best to stand against the standards. Teenagers have always been rebels, they are trying to be new, unusual,enigmatic. That`s why they`re searching for the forbidden.

A lot of people stand against this idea because they`re not familiar with it.We can`t welcome or put under a ban something we don`t know. It`s not correct.I`ve read extracts, articles and a lot of books connected to this topic. There are scientist who deny that idea and who accept it. It`s scientifically proved that marijuana is no more harmful or dangerous than tobacco or alcohol. All these stuffs could become damaging only im case we overuse them. The difference is that neither tobacco, nor alcohol is able to free your mind.But marijuana is able not only to free yourself. A lot of artists, singers, dancers and so on use marijuana to become more artistic, to loosen their talents.It helps them express their souls.

In short, before condemning light opiats - get to know them, study what do they cause and how do they affect people`s mentality and physique.
We are not living in the dark ages when the eclipse was considered black magic and the poets were burnt on the stake as heretics.

We have to be objective not conservative!
