TENNIS!

Hi, I am Simone. I like tennis!

I started to play it 2 years ago, when I was bored about other sports, so I decided to try tennis. Close to my house there is a tennis school where it was allowed to try a

week free and so I decided to take advantage of that occasion. So I found the sport for me.

Tennis can be played by two players or four players divided in two teams. Players use a stringed racket to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt launching it over a

net into the opponent's field, or to send back the incoming ball before it touches ground.

Tennis was invented in England in the late 19th century, lawn tennis spread first throughout the English-speaking world, particularly among the upper classes.

Tennis is now an Olympic game and is played at all levels of society, by all ages, and in many countries around the world.

Now I’ve been playinf tenns for two years and I have become fairly expert about this sport. I train twice a week. Moreover, I can play tennis also with my friends and school

mates. If I like so much tennis it is without doubt because of my teacher, Alessio, that it is indeed a nice guy, with his wisecracks and its humour keeps our moral high

and also when I am a bit down for some reason, if I go to a tennis class I feel much better then.
