How stressed are you?

In nearly every magazine we can read about stress, about how it affects our body and our behaviour. Even though it writes so much is written about this problem, there are not so many people that takes the warning signals serious, even if the symptoms are small they tends to grow if you don’t do something about it.

In an investigation I did in my school I chose to ask three people if they felt stressed in school sometimes. All of them answered “yes”.

I also asked them why they felt stressed, one of them answered like this.
Before a holiday. Then all our examination comes and I get chaos in my brain. I get a lump in my stomach and it will not disappear. Sometimes I have problems to go to sleep at night because how much I want to sleep I just lye in my bed and think deeply of what I have to do. Sometimes I’m so stressed I skip lunch to win some extra time.

There are two different types of stress. The two types are:

Negative stress

You feel like you are insufficient, and you don’t have time for things you usually do on your free time. You get problem with your stomach and sleeping problems.
Some people get so stressed so they end up in deep depression and other psychological problems.

Positive stress
Stress can also have a positive affect, your whole lifestyle feels like a challenge, for example you want to perform better.
Remember that you need to relax sometimes, if you want to live a healthy life.
Are many people in your school stressed?

The clock is a stress factor.
