Hello, my name is Kate O’Donnell but my nickname is Katyluu! I am sixteen years old (nearly seventeen!) and I go to Bishop Heber High School in Malpas, England. I live in a small, boring village called Hargrave where nothing exciting ever happens- there isn’t even a shop! I have two sisters, a brother, a niece, a dog, two gerbils and some fish.

At school this year, I am studying Psychology, Biology, Business Studies and English Literature- this is one of the reasons why I am interested in writing for ‘Freeway’ as I like writing and am interested in the issues that young people face these days.

I love languages (I can speak a bit of French and Spanish) so maybe any of you in foreign countries could teach me a bit of your language! I play netball for my school in a team where I play defence. I value my friends and love to spend time with them- we go to the local city to shop, play music with each other and party! This is a picture of some of us partying:
