Hi my name is Vicki Evans and I’m 16
years old. I live in a village outside
My interests consist of mainly fashion,
shopping, music, horse riding and dancing. I own my own horse called Maurice
and have been riding since I was about 4 years old. I compete in show jumping,
cross country and dressage and began eventing last year, with some success!
At the moment I participate in weekly
dance classes with one of my close friends. We do jazz, modern and tap…although
I’m not very good at the latter!
I also go shopping on a very regular basis
with my friends and never seem to return without a purchase! I think it is
really important to have an active social life, as I don’t think your life
should have to revolve around school work, which is why my friends and I meet
up regularly whether it is just to relax or go to parties!!
Music also plays quite a big part in my
life and my music taste is very varied! This year I went to V festival (which
was absolutely amazing!) to see most of my favourite bands. I have also seen
Feeder the Automatic, and I am going to see Less Than Jake in November.
I
also hope to travel after university, to see lots of new and exciting countries
and learn about different cultures.
I have decided to write for Freeway due
to the fact that I am thinking about pursuing a career in writing when I am
older, and also to meet new people from other countries, who I would not have
the chance to meet otherwise.
