Rickard Åstrand

Hello Europe

My name is Rickard Åstrand (surname pronounced Ohstrand) and I'm a Swedish boy who's 17 years old. I'm from a town called Örnsköldsvik which is in the north of Sweden. I live in the countryside in a parish called Nätra (located approximately 30 kilometres south of Örnsköldsvik) with my family that contains my mum Britt-Marie, my dad Kent and my older brother Alexander.

Well, enough about that, I am supposed to describe myself, which is a bit difficult. But okey-dokey, I'll give it a try. As I said, I am 17 years and I study the Social Science Programme at Parkskolan. My direction in the programme is journalism, and I like it a lot. In my spare time I play football in a team called Nätra Gif, which is very enjoyable. That is of course one of the summer activities I prefer.

Anyway, I am a person who likes to read the newspaper every day. As a student of journalism I find it very fun to review what's written, and so on. I like to read a lot of other stuff too, like books, for example.

I am a ordinay guy with ordinary interests. I can't recall anymore to say. So, now you know me, for a bit, I guess. I hope that my future will be good, and I hope the marks I leave behind, won't be bad. As Lou Reed once said: ”I think life is far too short to concentrate on your past. I rather look into the future.”

Feel free to contact me. Feel free to do whatever you want, in limited lines.

See ya 'round.
