Some people have big ears while others have a big nose. Others have a big mouth while some people have big hands. I have big feet!

Have you big feet? People today become just taller and taller and we get even bigger and bigger feet. Girls who need size 9 and guys who need size 13 become just more and more common and most of the shoe shops don't order bigger sizes than 7 for the ladies, and to 10½ for the man. Here in Sweden they order something that's called ”bondtolvan” and in that there's one size 4½, two sizes 5, three sizes 5½ and three sizes 6, two sizes 6½ and one size 7 for the ladies. Is there anybody who has feet a little bigger than 7, they will be gone very quickly. For the man it's the same and the ”bondtolvan” looks like this: one size 8, two sizes 8½, three sizes 9 and three sizes 9½, two sizes 10 and one sizes 10½. What do you do then if you have bigger feet than this ”bondtolvan” can offer you?

I have always had big feet and I always had problems to find shoes that fit. When I was smaller I often bought boyshoes in a sporty model or I went around in sneakers. In that time I didn't care so much what I wore on my feet but the older I became, I wished just more and more that I could have that handsome boots with heels or that little sweet ballerina shoe. And I know there is more people out there who feel like me!

There's hope So what would we with big feet do then? Well, there's hope because there are some shops, here in Sweden and even in other places too, that sell big shoes. These shops don't order the ”bondtolvan”. They order just shoe for shoe and can choose how many shoes they want in every size. But in this case the shoes are more expensive instead. There aren't many of these shops so if you need big shoes you might have to go a long way to come to the nearest shop or you can have to mail order if the shop has that service. But even if we can find bigger shoes it's almost impossible to get the Vogue shoes in bigger sizes, because this companies who are do bigger shoes often concentrate on making more classical models. When they make bigger shoes they don't want them to be unfashionable just after a year. So for that reason the companies make shoes that are ” in the market” for a long time. They also make very many shoes so the price will be as low as possible.

Big shoes don't mean big feet
If someone need big shoes, it doesn't mean that the person has big feet. You can either have very wide feet or you can have some sorts of bumps on your feet that smaller shoes press on, and then you need a bigger size.
