It was created in 2001. This is the seventh edition. In September there were tests to enter in the school but only nineteen can enter
in. "Amici" is a school where boys and girls learn to dance, sing and recite. In fact Steve La Chance, Garrison Rochelle, Maura Papparo
and Alessandra Celentano teach dance; Fabrizio Palma and Grazie Di Michele teach to sing while Fioretta Mari, Paolo Asso and Patrick
Rossi Gastaldi teach recitation. This year there was a new entry: Luca Jurman, their vocal coach.
It started in September and every Saturday afternoon there is the direct. Another very important aspect is the classified results where
the audience can vote its favourite .
"Amici" is composed in two parts. At the beginning there is the competition between two teams: sun and moon. In this phase there are
also some challenges between them and between one of them and a children that he want to enter in the school.
Then, in February, there is the final phase where some "students" are eliminated because they are the last in the classified results and
the rest are divided into two other teams: the white and blue.
In the white team there are: Roberta(singer), Pasqualino (singer), Giuseppe(singer), Simonetta (singer), Giulia(dancer) and Susy (dancer).
In the blue team there are: Marco(singer), Marta(singer), Maria Luigia (singer), Francesco (dancer), Cassandra (singer) and Gennaro
(dancer). Only one will be the winner.
I love this program. First of all because I like watching choreography by Steve and then because I like watching discussions between
students and teachers in particular the discussions between dancer and Alessandra Celentano, their classical dance ‘s teacher.
In fact for her a dancer must have a perfect physical but Susy and Giulia don’t have it.
So she says that they aren’t dancers. For me it is not true because it is not just a body to make the dancer. In fact Francesco expresses
nothing even if he has a beautiful body to dance. Alessandra Celentano is a very good dance’s teacher but I think that she is too severe.
Between white team and blue team I prefer the first because in the blue team there are Marta and Maria Luigia. In my opinion they
are not humble and they don’t know to sing. They criticize all, in particular Roberta.
Roberta is the best singer in the school of "Amici"
and her teachers say the same thing.
I like her because she always is sincere and because I love her voice.I hope that the winner of "Amici" is Roberta, Susy or Giluia.
