Guayaquil(Ecuador)

This article speak about my native town. It’s very fantastic but I’ve decided to tell about the importance about fruits and vegetables but everybody know it, I suppose. One day while I have written my homework
with the computer my teacher tell me: are you from Guayaquil??? So I prefer to speak about it and this way
everybody can know about my country. Guayaquil is the biggest city in Ecuador and the Pearl of the Pacific, is the nation's main sea port. Guayaquil is on Guayas River, which flows into the Gulf of Guayaquil into the Pacific Ocean. It is the capital of the Ecuadorian province of Guayas and I love it very much!!!!
It has recently taken massive urban new projects which are attracting tourists to the city. My friends recently has gone and she spoke about the news for example: Malecon 2000, il Malecon del Salado, il Parque del Centenario, Las Peñas.

But I prefer to speak about the beaches which are Guayaquil's best!!!. According to me the best of Guayaquil are the beaches for example when I was child I usually went to Playas, Crucita, Ballenita. And I’ll give you a small description about them, but if you want you can go and visit them.

  Guayaquil's city

Malecon 2000.
The Malecon 2000 is an ultramodern promenade
along the waterfront, has a nice contemporary art museum,
a large garden area, an area for kids, and a shopping mall, this large park is the biggest architectural development in many centuries in the City of Guayaquil.

Malecon del Salado
It is smaller than Malecon 2000, this waterfront walk also offers entertainment, culture and nature.
At El Salado you find a variety of restaurants and bars to chose; shops and entertainment for children. It is located at 9 de Octubre & La Ria.
Parque el Centenario
It is located at the heart of the city and is also one of the largest in Guayaquil. There are bronze monuments, which represent heroism, justice, patriotism, and freedom.

One monument representing the man who fought for independence was designed by a Spanish Sculptor, Agustin Querol, and built by Jose Monserrat in 1818.

La Rotonda
This historical monument is a spectacular semicircle commemorating the meeting of two Latin American liberators, Simon Bolivar and San Martin, when it was decided that Guayaquil be annexed to the Gran Colombia.
Las Peñas
The Barrio las Peñas located at the foot of the Santa Ana hill is an area of the city with a coastal colonial architecture.
It was destroyed and reconstructed several times as a consequence of fires, in particular the great fire of 1896. Here is the city’s first church, Santo Domingo (1548)
