MapleStory is a free side-scrolling MMORPG in 2D, developed by the Korean company "Nexon". Several versions of the game are available for specific countries. In the game, as typical role-playing games, players defend the "Maple World" from monsters and develop their character's skills and abilities. Players can interact with others in many ways, such as through instant messaging, chatting, trading, and playing minigame. Groups of players can all together in "groups" hunt monsters and take the rewards, or they can join together in a guild, under a common name. Gameplay is free. many player appearances and gameplay enhancements can be purchased from the "Cash Shop" with real currency. I found Maplestory very funny when I started to play. The story began in an island named Maple island, where you learn to move inside the game, with the other players. I restarted several times the game always trying different characters. I like trying new skills and meet other players. I have known the game from some of my friends, and now we meet and play together this game. however there are a lot of players of all nationalities, including mine and now I'm going on to play this game a few hours a week. |
