Internet versus Traditional Different relationships
What do you find more interesting, traditional relationships or internet relationships? I prefer both and I will now tell you why.
| With the traditional relationships I mean the relationships we humans have experienced since the beginning of time, the physical presence of two or more individuals. You create a traditional relationship with people in your physical presence which is restricted to people that live nearby, people with the same interests, people at the same school et cetera.
With internet relationships I mean the relations you create electronically through the internet.
Here you can meet all sorts of people and these relations aren’t limited to some special group of people. You can create relations with people of all ages and social status from all over the world. Even though I think it’s more likely that you meet someone with the same interest as you have, at least if you’re in some forum. If you on the other hand are at a community you could meet totally different personalities.

You don’t have to meet completely new people in either of the two different types of relationships. You can chat with your friends or decide to meet someone in real life that you already know from the internet.
As always there are both good and bad things about the two different types of relationships. The traditional relationships have from a historical perspective been working out quite well. You can reach a completely different level with the traditional relation in my opinion. You just get to know the person better if you establish a traditional relationship with that person rather than having merely a strict internet relationship. The modern technology has developed and produced tools for an internet relation that is more similar to a traditional relation. From the days of exchanging mails physically the telephone developed which enabled talking over long distances. With the mobile phone, an improved telephone, we no longer have to stay at the stationary phone since the phone nowadays accompany us. The computer and the development of the internet with all its components have made it possible to use a sort of fast mailing called e-mailing. Now there are even video conversations so you can see the person while you’re talking. In the future there will probably be a way to transport people instantly all over the world so you can use the traditional way of relationships.

The great benefit with internet relations is that there are no boundaries. You can also open up easier if you’re sitting safely behind a computer screen.
You don’t have to worry about humiliation when you have this kind of barrier. You can meet anyone out there, age, money, sex, skin-colour don’t matter. You can bend the truth a little which unluckily in most cases will result in trouble at last.
Unfortunately great lies can occur and another disadvantage with internet relationships is that you can’t do anything but computer stuff with the person you meet

The great advantage with traditional relationships is that it’s more genuine. After all, we are humans and it’s natural for us to build a relationship with all the elements accounted for. The physical presence is the most obvious element you neglect when you have an internet relationship. You can create deeper and more intimate relationships such as passionate love and unquestionable brotherhood and by that I mean: you’re able to bond stronger! I am still aware that there are some worst case scenarios where physical suppression takes place. That could never happen in an internet relationship.
With all these sentences stated I hereby lay down my indisputable opinion. Both traditional and internet relationships are necessary for survival. What do you think?
