J . Ax real name is Alessandro Aleotti) was born in Milan in 1972 and Dj Jad (real name is Luca Perrini) was born in Bollate in 1966 Alessandro wrote a rap music while Luca was a Dj. They met each other at a party in 1990 and after they set up Articolo 31. At the beginning they wanted to call themselves Articolo 41 because the 41th article of Italian legislation reforms to the military service for nervous syndromes but later, in a pub, a university teacher proposed the new name “Articolo 31” because, the 31th article of Irish law gives the freedom of expression. In a few years Articolo 31 is become an Italian HIP-HOP emblem, an original language in a straightforward manner, bear in mind and realized in the respect of origin, origin that J.Ax and Dj.Jad haven’t never refused.
