Recycling
"I think in Germany, it is normal to sort your trash into paper, glass, plastic and so on. In other countries e.g. Italy or France, you don't sort your trash to that extent. The Germans even sort the glass according to different colours! I think it is a sign of progress that people sort and recycle their own trash because they recognized that it matters how you treat the environment.
Of course, this has to take place in other countries too because when only a few countries are recycling the garbage, the sense of recycling is not fulfilled.
On the other hand it is important to make sure that the sorted trash isn't dumped together again after the people sorted it carefully. With a little commitment by everyone, I think successful recycling is possible.”
