Answer to the article “How do you recycle in your country”

I think you got the main reason why lots of people just don’t recycle their garbage: it is their laziness I’m not sure if the lack of information is also a reason. I have the impression that most people know very well why recycling is important for the environment but they don’t care.

If the pollution doesn’t affect yourself you just start to throw your rubbish on the ground because you are too lazy to walk the 200 meters to the next bin. So it would be a good idea to put up more containers and to put them closer to town centres.

I doubt that it would work to convince people to buy used things. Our society is too wealthy and spoiled to resign of new things. There are unfortunately only a few exceptions.
