Air pollution because of the cars? |
|
The question obout the climate is very important in the motor
vehicle industry. The major complaints are usually based on old information. When
it comes to relatively new cars the discharge is much better. For example
100 modern cars together discharge the same as one old care did during
the 70's. A car without a catalyst ofcourse spit out more than a car
with a catalyst. Dieselcars also have particle discharge which has been
a problem. But with the tecknique of today particle filters that clean
the exhausts have been developed. This means that dieselscars with particle
filters are classified as environment cars if thay are really fuel-efficient.
Eu's goal with the car industry is to reduce all discharges. No car after 2012 will be allowed to let out more than 130 grammes of carbon dioxide per kilometre. That corresponds to 0,56 litre per kilometres and 0,51 litre diesel per kilimetres. Sweden has difinitely deaded that we will reduce the discharge with 4% by 2010 There are different measures to do that. Some of them are technicalprogress, biomass based fuel, syntheticdiesel and hydrogen gas. Ask yourselves the question: Can I do someting for a better sustainable
development? And then act according to your answer!
