Sunbeams

A big issue is getting your electricity for a small amount of money, with solar cells, it can be aquired very easily.
Solar cells are squareshaped cells that collect the sunbeams and then convert them into electric power.
It is often mistaken for solarcollectors, but the main difference is that solarcollectors heat up the water, that later on can be used to heat the house.
With solar cells, the sun is directly converted into electricpower.

Today's solar cells have an efficiency of 20% and are still very expensive.
Therefore, the use of a solarcell is more comon in an area where it is not so appropriate to draw electricity wires.
A more everyday use for cells is the small lights for garden lights, solar cells, which are used to avoid cabling.
In these applications, charging solar accumulator during the bright part of the day.

Photo voltaics are also quite common in devices with low power such as calculators, where even cheap solar cells are working great.
New solar cells with better efficiency are always worked on.
The record for a solarcell is around 42% efficiency.
Solarcells are very expensive to buy, but the monthly cost is reduced radically.
Beacuse of that, the energy that we can capture just from the sun is a great renewable source to keep our houses warm and take our daily shower in a warm and nice temperature.
