Which vehicle is best for the environment?

If you want to do something about the environment you should consider to take the bus or the train more often than the car. Because a car lets out more carbon dioxide(CO2) for every kilometre than the bus and train do. And that is not good for the environment.

Very many people take their cars wherever they go. They take it to the job, to the mall when they go shopping and when they make a trip to another city or country. But is that good for the environment? No it is not. It would be much better if more people consider taking the bus or train more often than they do today. The bus maybe takes a little longer than the car and it can be more complicated to take stuff with you on a train if you have bought many things than it is to take it with you in your own car, where you can just throw them in the back seat. But it is much better for the environment if you take a train instead of a car.
For exampel if you make a trip between Gothenburg and Stockholm by train you only let out about 40 grams CO2 into the air, but if you make the same trip by car you let out about 90 kilo CO2 into the air. And if you take the bus it is still going to be much better than the car, but worse than the train.
So if you want do do something about the environment but you don´t really know what you can do, you can start with your way of travelling. Take the train and the bus more often than the car and you will do something good for the environment.
