The future home of humankind |
Human beings are quite fascinating creatures, especially when it comes to development. We have gone from farmers in the Middle Ages to successful workers in 21st century.
Our technology has changed a lot through the years and the remaining question might be – will we be able to keep on living at a high standard by creating new technology items to improve our comfort but also to help the environment?
The average person of today has a home that contains quite common things; fridge, coffee maker, washing machine, TV, digital box, one or two gas-powered cars, stationary telephone, computer and such. All separated from each other. Many scientists believe that will not be the case if we look further ahead, deeper in the future. Thy believe that we're going to have a lot of our technology remote-controlled and some things will also be assembled together This development has already started today and it will just become bigger.
It's difficult to force what will happen in the future. This is one theory.
Beneath you on the floor you will have a special machine that feeds your pet at certain times. In that way you can go out of town or be out at night without thinking of your pets, but only if you have the automatic pet feeder. It will make it easier for you, when you don't have to worry if you've fed your pet or not because the automatic pet feeder takes care of that for you. Your fridge will have built-in coffee maker, soda streamer and ice maker. Many things will be combined with each other. You won't need a stationary telephone because nowadays everyone walks around with their own cell phone. Also you computer has been replaced by a laptop. People will become so lazy, which is the main reason why everything can be done with only a press of a button. Hopefully people have also thought about saving the planet and the environment by perhaps inventing a new way of driving – maybe we'll have cars powered by electricity or other things that might be good for the environment. But, if we're going to live in a world with more and more things in need of electricity, we have to produce more environment friendly electricity by perhaps using wind- or water power, and other things that won't destroy nature. It will be really exciting to see what the future has to offer but to be able to live in this dreamworld, we must do what we can to become one with nature. |
