The future of music

Many things evolve over time, eg clothing, politics and technology. The music is also developing. Music is now available to download from the internet with a simple click on your computer. Music can be stored in a computer, then it should be able to edited and created on a computer aswell. There are several programs already that you can use to enter notes, then play the song for you. Perhaps you've heard of this, but have you heard anything about the future of music? There are programs already under development to analyze a song and then determine what song it is, even print out the notes for you. You will be able to upload a song into a search engine such as Google, and get information about the song and the notes of the song..

The programs will get better and soon much of all the music the is will be computer generated. This may sound rediculous, but the truth is, you probably will not notice any difference in quality. With newer software, there will be settings for what genre you like, maybe some examples, a source of inspiration, etc.. You will be able to make music that is specially made for your taste in music and your requests. Question is: Is it really the same? What happens to all the concerts? What happens to all the festivals and all the musicians? I do not think these things will disappear. People will always stand in front of the scene and listen to their favorite band. It is not the same feeling to stand in front of an empty stage with a lot of speakers connected to a small computer in the corner. No, I think there will always be a need for talented musicians and awesome concerts.

I also believe that there will be new genres in the future, the question is only which. Does it not feel as if we already have all the genres you can think of? We have an incredible number of key genres, and even more subgenres. I think the new genres will be within the computer-generated music such as techno, trance and electronic. Why? Because computers and programs will be developed as stated previously in this article. It will be easier for the ordinary to create music and thus it will create new genres with or without the intention.

I think music in the future will be positively met. The music will not change, it will only expand, just as it has already been done before. We still have classical music and acoustical music, and I think we will still keep our current genres, at least for as long as I walk around on this earth.
