In the last few years Fair Trade has become more and more popular in Germany because of the increasing demand from many people. For this reason we have got shops in Radolfzell, too which sell these products.
Aldi is one of these shops. Since 2008 Aldi has been selling Fair Trade Products to support the people in developing countries. The aim is to contribute to the living conditions of many poor farmers. Aldi has got a choice of a few products, for example: coffee from Arabic countries, tea from Asia, bananas from Ecuador and some other products. Fair Trade products are more expensive than normal products. The price of 500g coffee is 5€, for bananas around 2€ and for tea you have to pay 3€.
